With over 3000 applicants to Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), we were honored to be selected and started our CDL journey in October 2023 as one of the 20 Neuro track companies at the University of Toronto. After each session, highly qualified companies were eliminated. Humbled to share that we made it through all 4 rounds! SiNON will be graduating CDL in June. Entrepreneurship is a roller coaster, and last week was a steep dip with an unexpected Intellectual Property (IP) bill that strained our funds. Yet, this week we soared high, delivering our first Carbon Nano Particle sample to Duke Neurosurgery's Dr. Gerald Grant and Dr. Wonjee Lee for groundbreaking tests to cross the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) and revolutionize neurological disease treatment. This juxtaposition of challenge and achievement defines our journey. Despite financial hurdles, the promise of our work to impact lives keeps us resilient and motivated.
