We are currently at the halfway point of the Farnborough International Airshow, and we have had the honour of engaging with great aviation sector leaders to discuss their sustainability roadmap and how a behavioural science solution can further contribute to emissions reductions and closing the gap in the pursuit of net zero. Sustainable shipping fuels could reach cost parity with fossil fuels by 2035. However, empowering crews to make fuel-efficient decisions now can reduce emissions and costs, while laying the foundation for efficient practices during the transition to sustainable fuels. "Just as crew behaviour currently impacts fossil fuel consumption, it will be just as central for fuel efficiency in the future when a five per cent saving represents a much higher financial value."
