At Luke's Local, they cherish the moments we get to engage with and learn from our neighbors and community at large. In the spirit of that community, they designed a loyalty program that gives back in a meaningful way. The Fox Club is a 1:1 loyalty program; for every dollar you spend, you earn 1 point. Once you earn enough points, you can either redeem for cash back or donate that money to a local non-profit. From July - September, the Food Bank is one of the non-profits you can support!

Summer can be tough for families with kids when free school meals aren’t available. Thanks to a generous match offer from Lucy and Todd Johns, your donation can make 2x the difference through July 31! Your support powers access to fresh food through our neighborhood food pantries, Home-Delivered groceries, and CalFresh outreach. These are critical resources for families with kids who are facing increased food and childcare expenses during the summer. Help us ensure kids return to school nourished and ready to learn! 🌱 Donate today and double your impact! 🔗 https://loom.ly/jN1D8UM

The Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood is defined as a #FoodDesert, where access to a variety of fresh and healthy produce is extremely limited. At Florence Fang Community Farm, we’re passionate about #FoodSecurity and #FoodSovereignty. It’s important to understand these concepts in order to create change in our communities: - Food security refers to the direct availability, accessibility, and affordability of food for all individuals.  - Alternatively, food sovereignty goes past accessibility by focusing on communities’ ability to control their own food systems, helping them take control of production, distribution, and the variety of culturally-appropriate and preferred produce. At the farm, we value food security through our weekly Saturday Food Pantry and #Partnership with SF-Marin Food Bank. Additionally, we also prioritize food sovereignty with our #Community and #PublicAccess farm. We encourage all members in our community to grow the veggies they cherish. We’re helping make impactful change one step at a time! We’d love to have you join our journey. Please consider contributing to our farm by volunteering or making a donation. 🌎💗 https://lnkd.in/gBV9R9M3 #NonProfit #SocialImpact #Change

    Director, Product Marketing at Moody’s

Today, #TeamMoodys volunteered at the SF-Marin Food Bank sorting food and packing bags for home-delivered groceries. (450 bags for a total of 11,250 pounds of food to be exact!) With this, our local food bank is able to arrange home-delivered groceries that goes directly to seniors, families with young children, people who have a disability or are pregnant, and others who can't easily access a pantry. Working outside our usual roles brought us together in-person to #TeamUp and highlighted the importance of teamwork, in and out of the workplace. The immediate impact of our collective effort of packing food for the community was a powerful reminder of the value of giving back. Big thanks to everyone involved! Here’s to more impactful days ahead! #CommunityService

Summer is meant for joy, but for many Bay Area families, it brings anxiety of when their next meal will come from. Fortunately, Food Bank donors Lucy and Todd Johns are matching donations up to $15,000 to ensure no one goes hungry this summer. Children in San Francisco and Marin counties rely on school meals, which aren’t available in summer. SUN Bucks, a new state-run program, offers $120 per child in summer food assistance benefits to fill this gap – but with high grocery prices mean more support is needed. Donate now to double your impact and provide 30,000 meals for families! 🔗 https://loom.ly/jN1D8UM

During my time at Salesforce, I've had the opportunity to engage in volunteering for various causes, and it's been truly life-changing. Volunteering allows you to learn new skills, connect deeply with others, and make a real difference. Today, I want to spotlight two outstanding foundations that are making a significant impact in our community: the SF-Marin Food Bank and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation Foundation. SF-Marin Food Bank: This organization distributes nutritious food across San Francisco and Marin counties through a network of over 300 nonprofits. They not only address immediate food insecurity but also advocate for sustainable, long-term solutions. San Francisco AIDS Foundation: Providing crucial services such as medical care and prevention education, this foundation supports individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. They also champion policies that advance research and treatment in the field. Whether through donations, volunteering your time, or simply spreading awareness, your support can contribute to positive change. Let's come together to support these causes and help build a healthier, more resilient community for everyone. Join in, volunteer, and witness firsthand the impact we can make together! #Volunteer #MakeADifference #GiveBack #TrailblazerRanch 🌟
