With 1,000 kW of drive power, its bucket wheel can generate a nominal torque of 2,100 kNm!
Did you know that SEW-Eurodrive has been supplying Bucket Wheel Drives since 2008? Like the 1000 kW, 2.1 Million Nm Drive for the World’s largest Bucket Wheel Reclaimer in Chile’s Radomiro Tomic Mine supplied in 2015. The largest Bucket Wheel Drive supplied by SEW-Eurodrive so far was in 2021 to a Mine in Hungary, delivering 2.53 Million Nm of Torque out of an 1100 kW Electric Motor.
