Efficient Pumping of Ammonia as Hydrogen Carrier SERO’s Side Channel Sump SEMA-S is the ideal solution for the safe transfer of ammonia (NH3) thanks to its leakage-free magnetic drive and extremely low NPSH values. Our self-priming pump gains new process significance in fuel cell technology, where ammonia is considered a hydrogen carrier.   The SEMA-S hydraulic flow range of 0.3 m3/hr to 42 m3/hr with pressures up to 40 bar fits nicely into the fuel cell design criteria. Its sealless design provides a safe, environmentally sound solution.
