In honor of the various species in our care native to the African savanna, we are celebrating Savanna Awareness Weekend this year! We will be raising awareness for animals like giraffe, rhino, lion, elephant, and more June 22 – 25 here at the Zoo! Make plans to come out to get involved in the fun and learn about the many conservation efforts surrounding this area of the world.
