A few weeks ago, legend Amanda Wick posted on LinkedIn her reflections following a conference and women’s lunch for financial professionals. She commented, “we need more women who are financial professionals to learn about digital assets.” She further commented that “while the women’s lunch was full, the room wasn’t full enough!” She declared that filling the room would become her mission.
I thought of Amanda’s mission yesterday while I had the honor of attending SecureFi in Brussels. I was one of, at most, a handful of women at this absolutely incredible event dedicated to crypto/blockchain security—literally, I could count on one hand the number of women in attendance during this day long event. Thank you SecureFi dWallet Network Immunefi dWallet Labs #Securefibrussels
The time is NOW to fill the room with women when it comes to digital assets/crypto AND security. The web3/crypto space offers women so many opportunities, including women with unique backgrounds who are eager to shake up their careers and the financial landscape--and who want to create real change.
One a related note, I am absolutely honored to be a member of the SheFi community thanks to Maggie Love, another powerful, fierce woman who is committed to filling the web3/crypto space and conference rooms with women. As she says, the frontier is feminine. She is building a powerful community of women in this space. Thank you, Maggie and The Arbitrum Foundation for #SheFiBrussels
Oui, c’est moi in the photo. 😊 Thanks @Encrypt_xyz
