📣 Exciting News! The SEANERGY Project Master Plan will be coming online soon! Stay tuned! 🌊⚡️ Kicked off in October 2022, the SEANERGY Project aims to transform ports into clean energy hubs. The SEANERGY #MasterPlan (MP) will provide guidelines for all stakeholders in the port industry to assess, plan, and execute necessary activities. The MP will be the main reference for environmental and energy planning. Activities such as training, reskilling, spreading awareness, and creating communication channels will support green port transitioning, fostering dialogue among industry agents (academia, private, and public sectors). This will boost the development and integration of sustainable technologies. The Master Plan will consider resources like hydrogen, waste, water, electricity, CO2, and steam, selecting the best synergy scenarios between environment, cooperation, and business viability. Last Friday I had the honour to present SEANERGY Project 's outcomes alongside with Anas S. Alamoush regarding the knowledge obtained so far, sharing the results and factsheets for each region in the EU. The attendees were highly interested in the innovation aspects for ports to lead their decarbonisation efforts and become energy hubs. Thank World Maritime University for becoming an exchange forum of transformative projects in the Maritime sector and Education.
