Our interns have had the opportunity to interact with our vibrant product lines. In each of their roles, they’ve been able to promote innovative improvements to our products. Meet Mark, our Engineering Intern! Mark is currently a Junior at Purdue University, where he studies chemical engineering. Mark plays disc golf competitively; he currently competes with the Purdue Disc Golf Club. So far, Mark has learned a lot about Seaman Corporation. He shared that he has learned that we have a much wider variety of products and applications than he knew about before joining us. Throughout our lineup of products, Mark has been impressed by the complex structure of our coated fabrics. From his time on our team, Mark hopes to bring with him a clear understanding of how to find problems, how to design experiments to understand problems, and how to create lasting solutions. Mark, we are happy to have you on our team!

Through an internship with Seaman Corporation, our interns get a first-class introduction to the professional world, along with the opportunity to apply their studies. Our interns are learning about the things that make our company so great: our benefits, Volunteer Time Off and wellness programs to name a few.   Meet Alan, our Engineering Intern!   Alan is a sophomore at the University of Dayton, where he majors in chemical engineering. Alan is involved on his campus and plays intramural soccer. Alan has a passion for science, specifically chemistry, and enjoys a good card game and the opportunity to travel.   When asked about what he has learned about our company, Alan shared, "I have learned that Seaman Corporation is dedicated to health and building community through their benefits such as volunteer time off, access to membership at Aspen Racquet Club, and other health programs. Seaman Corporation also heavily prides themselves on safety for all employees through their safety teams and procedures." Safety and the welfare of our employees is at the forefront of what we do.    In his role, Alan has learned a lot about the steps that go into determining a project: from the approval process, to understanding the financial considerations, and the overall impact of the project. Out of this experience, Alan hopes to gain the lesson of being a "learner, experiencer, and contributor, all at the same time".   We are thrilled to have you, Alan!

Determining an effective strategy to go to market with a range of high-quality products, like our offering at Seaman Corporation, takes a lot of research. This summer, our interns have the opportunity to contribute to this research and the decision making that goes into our marketing strategy. Meet Elena, our Marketing Intern! Elena is a senior at the University of Cincinnati, where she majors in marketing. Elena has a passion for travel; she has visited Hawaii, Paris, and Scotland. Elena has already learned so much working with us, including gaining an understanding of our ambitious goals of market growth. In her role, Elena has gained valuable skills related to completing a competitive analysis and comparing the marketing methods of FiberTite to other products on the market. When asked what lessons she would like to take from her experience, she said "A lesson I will take with me is how to make connections and be successful in a large corporation." We're glad to have you, Elena!

Houston, Texas faced 120 mph winds, which tore the roof off this restaurant, causing significant damage. A temporary fix was attempted by placing commercial-grade tarpaulin, but it wasn't strong enough and eventually collapsed, allowing water to pour into the building. In need of emergency repair, FiberTite® Blue Roof™ Temporary membrane was installed. Unlike commercial-grade tarpaulin, Blue Roof membrane boasts exceptional durability, with 10 times the tear strength, 3 times the puncture resistance, and twice the nail pull-out resistance, making it suitable for various applications. For more information, contact a Sales Representative in your area!  https://lnkd.in/ek68DViQ #FiberTite #BlueRoof #Durability #TemporaryMembrane

At Seaman Corporation, creating solutions is at the forefront of all that we do. Our Technology team works hard to create solutions that will protect valuable assets around the world. This summer, our interns get to have an impact on this mission! Meet Nathan, our Innovation & Technical Intern! Nathan is a junior at John Carroll University, where he majors in engineering physics and plays on the men's soccer team. Nathan has previously traveled to England, Denmark, and Sweden to play soccer. So far, Nathan has learned a lot about the work that goes into creating our FiberTite roofing membrane, and how our roofing product differs from other types of single-ply roofing membranes. He has also learned about the considerations of an innovative project that makes it worthwhile for a company to invest time and resources. Out of this experience, Nathan hopes to "learn more about how a company takes technical research and implements said research into launching new products that will solve a problem in real world applications. I also hope to familiarize myself with the professional world and find out where I fit within it". Join us in welcoming Nathan!

This summer at Seaman Corporation, we have an awesome group of interns and summer staff joining us on their break from classes. We are excited about the opportunity to provide learning experiences to the next generation of employees. Over the next few weeks, we will be introducing you to some of our interns! Meet Jack, our Data Analytics intern! Jack is a junior at Denison University and plays on their football team. In addition to working with us, Jack is looking forward to playing pickle ball with friends over the summer. So far, Jack has learned a lot about our company, especially the competitive advantages of FiberTite, compared to other products in the market. Jack has been able to apply skills that he has gained at Denison to work with real business data and has learned a lot about investments and real estate. When asked about what he hopes to take out of this experience, Jack shared, "A huge lesson for me is the day-to-day interactions with my coworkers. I’ve learned the most when I ask questions and everyone that I work with has been more than happy to answer and explain any question that I ask. I think it's this collaboration with others and the value of it that I most want to take out of this experience." We're excited to have you, Jack!
