📣FACTS vs MYTHS📣 👎🏻GM foods are dangerous FACTS: The FDA has strict regulations to ensure food safety measures! There are 3 regulating bodies to ensure the food we eat is safe, this includes FDA, EPA, and USDA. 👎🏻GMOS cause cancer FACTS: multiple studies from WHO, EFSA do not show any connections between GMOS and cancer. Most research is needed, but as of now it does not seem GM foods are a huge concern. #poultryindustry #recruiting #GMOs

Happy Wednesday Scramblers! 🍳 Scramble Staffing is excited to share with you the final part in our resume to hire series! Here is part 3!! 😋 Below is from the viewpoint of a recruiter  when it comes to the hiring process⬇️ ———————————————————————— Q. What is the single purpose of your resume? A. Your resume gets your foot in the door to speak to a hiring agent. That being said, before you apply for a position, make sure it is a position that you qualify for. If you are applying for a position and they require a certain skill set and you don’t have it, don’t apply to it. Q. What MUST you include on your resume? A. Companies you worked for, dates of employment and key words on what you have done in your career Q. How long is a typical resume A. Keep it one page, short and to the point. Q. Should someone tailor their resume to the specific job they are applying to? A. Absolutely, you might have multiple skills that you want to emphasize for one job but might not apply to another. Q. Do you think the candidate should include why they left their employer? A. No, but if you are doing contract work and have short tenure at various employers, put in parentheses contract work otherwise they will think you are a job hopper. Q. Any tips for someone before they go into an interview? A. Research the company and the specific job that you are interviewing for. It is very important that you do your research. Q. Should candidates do mock interviews before their real interview? A. It is always good to be prepared and if doing a mock interview prepares you for the interview with the company then by all means do it. Q. Should the candidate ask questions during the interview? A. Yes, this is very important and should always be done. At the end of the interview have a few questions prepared to ask your interviewer. 1. Why did the previous employee leave this position? 2. What is the most important qualification you are looking for in a candidate? 3. What do you like about working at the company? Q. Any end tips for someone getting ready for their interview? A. Always be prepared and just remember you’re having a conversation. You’re going to be nervous but try to remember that you are being interviewed because of your skill set and as long as you keep that in mind you will do well. The best advice I can give is don’t talk about personal issues. You want to be personable, however you don’t want to go down that rabbit hole.   ————————————————————————— We hope you enjoyed a fresh insight into the views of the hiring process. Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!! 🐔 #poultry #recruiting #poultryindustry
