A couple weeks back I had the opportunity to field all the hunting clothing I received at Scheels Hunting Clothing and Footwear University. As a new player in the Arizona market, we are focused on connecting our products and brands to the hunters in the greater Phoenix area. Having grown up in our mountains and deserts chasing animals and having adventures, it was a treat to test different gear as I hunted. It gives me the opportunity to tell our customers how each item has performed for me while out in our wild areas. Arizona is my favorite playground, and Scheels in Chandler, AZ is the best toy box to enjoy that playground. Proud to be a part of the journey. #Scheels

What does it mean to be a SCHEELS Expert? Since 1997, SCHEELS has empowered our associates through our SCHEELS University program. This program consists of 42 different Universities throughout the year, educating more than 1300 part time and full time associates. Over 660 vendors attend, to train and provide them with hands-on experiences using the latest and greatest equipment in the industry. They have to be experts out there before we call them experts in here.

Did you know, that depending on the complexity of the shot, it could take an animator up to 5 hours to produce 1 second of animation! 🤯 We truly appreciate all of the effort that they put in to bring this piece to life!

Our friends at the LEGO Group teamed up with Tongal & Loud Cloud Animation Studio to create this amazing stop-motion video to highlight the LEGO® products we carry. They did an amazing job bringing the SCHEELS experience to life, from the aquarium to the Ferris wheel, and, of course, the LEGO® selection! This week, some of our Campus Associates were able to volunteer for the United Way of Cass-Clay's School Supply Drive! They helped prepare 6,000 backpacks and sets of school supplies for local students, K-12. This week we FIRED UP the GRILL to celebrate associate appreciation! Over 500 pounds of meat, including smoked brisket, juicy pulled pork, rotisserie chicken, and all the fixins! Topped off with Dairy Queen Blizzards! It was the perfect way to celebrate our associates and to get outside and enjoy the wonderful weather over lunch.
