Our Dress to Empower event was a success! Thank you to all the women who attended! Our event was focused on empowering women through clothing and resources. At Save-A-Suit we are deeply grateful for all the volunteers and sponsors that gave their support to allow us to hold this event. Your help and support is what made Dress to Empower possible. We want to thank each and every person who helped contribute! While the event is over, we are still hard at work shipping out suits to veterans! If you are interested in collaborating with Save-A-Suit for future events please contact us.

June 28th will mark the celebration of our "Dress to Empower” event where we will be providing women with free suits and professional clothing attire, as well as the tools and resources they need to succeed in the workforce. This event will take place at the Courtyard By Marriott Hartford Cromwell in Cromwell and is open to all women, including women veterans, along with their spouses and family members. Women will be able to access seminars on personal finance, free headshot photos and a wide variety of valuable career development resources. The event will also feature guest appearances by Miss Connecticut winner Shavana Clarke, as well as Brooke Goff, Managing Partner at Goff Law Group. Some supporters for this event include sponsors such as Liberty Bank and Bearingstar Insurance, who we thank for their outstanding support. If you would like to support this event, please get in touch with us. More information at saveasuit.org/dress/

As interest in our event Dress to Empower grows, we wanted to share the great news that now in addition to women veterans, we welcome spouses and family members of service members, and non-military women. To accommodate this expansion, we are rescheduling the event to June 28th. We want to extend our gratitude to those of you who want to contribute to this event: volunteers and veteran organizations.
