  • We are proud to announce Mr. Pat Frost as the incoming President. Mr. Frost is a seasoned executive with over four decades of leadership in the financial services industry.  He played an integral role in growing Frost Bank, a cornerstone supporter of our community, into one of the 50 largest US banks and increasing assets by over $5 billion.  His passion for sports and community engagement has led him to chair more than 40 boards within our community, was responsible for over 3,000 employees during his career at Frost Bank, and is a leader for economic development in San Antonio.  He previously served on the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Executive Board for 12 years, supporting a passionate force of over 6,000 volunteers.  Pat currently chairs the NCAA 2025 Men’s Final Four Local Organizing Committee and is the Chair-Elect of the Greater Chamber 2025.  Under his guidance, he helped lead the Alamo Bowl to a huge success.  Pat brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in sports business to this role. He has managed large and diverse groups throughout his career, instilling a culture of respect and teamwork, while never losing his energetic and enthusiastic style. Pat’s leadership will emphasize the San Antonio Rodeo’s mission to help educate the youth of Texas and ensure success in expanding the organization’s community involvement in San Antonio, Bexar County and surrounding areas. We would like to once again welcome our incoming President, Mr. Pat Frost and thank our outgoing President, Mr. David White for his past three years of service to our organization.

In 2022 we launched our Gate Greeter program; a welcoming committee located at all entry gates. Greeters are to scan tickets, and be a smiling face for our guest's to see upon entering our grounds. The program is offered to nonprofit and educational organizations, as a way to raise funding for their programs! We have seen incredible success for this program, and the organizations that participate. One group in particular has truly gone above and beyond in their service. Sam Houston High School is located in our very own East Side community, and their Junior ROTC group truly engaged this program to the fullest! They received a $5,050 check from the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo for all their hard work as Gate Greeters, and they plan on using the money to contribute to the future of their program. Our organization is committed to furthering our mission of educating the Youth of Texas. Congratulations Sam Houston JROTC!

  • Our Rodeo Contestant Hospitality does their absolute best taking care of our contestants during their run at San Antonio Rodeo. Being on the road all year is hard, but having a good meal can be the piece of home our contestants need. Thank you to our incredible group of Contestant Hospitality Meal Donors, who made it possible to feed our contestants and their families every day!

Thank you to the St. Philips College President, Dr. Williams Loston and her wonderful staff & students for the lunch and tour of St. Philip’s College. What an exceptional campus and passion we witnessed from her team. We had the opportunity to educate ourselves about what this great campus has to offer. San Antonio & the Eastside is blessed to have this type of educational institution available to our future students.   Alamo Colleges District

He's entertained rodeo fans around the country for years and is a 10-time PRCA ProRodeo Clown of the Year. His comedic influences include the late great Chris Farley. His family life is no joke. He and his wife Ashley are the proud parents of TRIPLETS!!!👨👧👦They travel around the country, living the rodeo life and exploring the cities they visit. They are in San Antonio this month for the rodeo. He grew up a Kansas City Chiefs fan and had to work the rodeo DURING the Super Bowl Sunday night. But he found a creative way to stay up-to-date on the thrilling game.🏈 “Pickup Lines” presented by Gamez Law Firm🥊and Integrity Roofing and Siding🏠with San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo barrel man Justin Rumford. He started years ago as a volunteer and worked his way up to be CEO of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. He has his grandfather to thank for his love of ranching and agriculture.🐎 🐂 🐑 By the time this year’s rodeo is all over, he will have lived on the rodeo grounds for eight weeks. In his spare time, he travels the country, studying trends and finding ways to evolve the SA Rodeo. One recent trip took him to - of all places - Compton, California. Not a place necessarily known for its rodeo. What he found there was pretty amazing.
