Prioritizing Employee Health Through Comprehensive Sanitation Services Throughout June, we emphasized workplace safety, but our commitment to employee health extends far beyond. COVID-19, though not as prevalent, remains a reminder to protect our workforce. That’s why investing in professional sanitation services outside production areas is crucial. Effective sanitation not only eradicates harmful bacteria and prevents food-borne illnesses but also safeguards employees in common areas like locker rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and during donning and doffing procedures. By maintaining a meticulously sanitized environment, we create a safe workplace that minimizes the risk of illness and supports the overall well-being of our team. Let’s continue to prioritize the health of our employees. Reach out to our team today to learn more about our sanitation services and how we can help create a healthier workplace environment. #EmployeeHealth #SanitationServices #WorkplaceWellbeing #SafetyFirst #COVID19Safety

As we all come together to celebrate the 4th of July this year, our top priority is to ensure the safety and quality of your food. From the facilities we sanitize to your table, we are invested in our mission to safely serve our customers and their consumers. If you're hosting or attending a backyard BBQ on the 4th, here are a few important tips to keeping you and your guests safe this holiday. 🔥 Keep Hot Foods Hot, and Cold Foods Cold - use chafing dishes, slow cookers, or insulated containers for hot dishes to maintain a temperature of 140 degrees or warmer. Use coolers with ice packs or serving dishes with ice containers underneath for cold dishes, keeping them at 40 degrees or colder. 🚫 Avoid Cross Contamination - Separate your raw and cooked foods properly by having designated cutting boards and utensils away from the rest of the prepared food and dishes. Always wash your hands and thoroughly clean the surfaces after handling raw meat. 🌡 Cooking Meat at the Right Temperature - Here are the following internal temperatures for commonly cooked meat on the 4th: - Poultry: 165 degrees - Beef, Veal, Lamb, and Pork: 145 degrees - Ground Meats: 160 degrees 🕑 Follow the 2 Hour Rule - Perishable foods should not be left out for more than 2 hours at a time. If the temperature is above 90 degrees, reduce the time to 1 hour. If you have a large amount of perishable food, serve in smaller portions and store the rest in the refrigerator until needed. Following these simple tips could help prevent food-bourne illnesses and will ensure that your friends and family have a safe and delicious holiday. From all of us at Sanitation Specialists, have a fun and safe Independence Day! 🇺🇲

Sanitation and Stretching - Who Would Have Thought? Starting your day with a few simple stretches has been commonly known to increase mobility and movement, so why not implement these same practices before every shift for our sanitors? Our front line employees have a labor intensive job, and being able to safely and efficiently carry out the tasks required for high quality sanitation is the company wide goal. That's why some of our facilities have created a pre-shift routine of guiding a few simple stretches before their work starts, and the response has been phenomenal! These simple practices not only help with flexibility, improving posture, and increasing blood flow, but it's been a huge boost in morale for our employees. What types of movement practices does your company implement for your employees? We want to know in the comments below.
