At this month's Fresh Starts event, we're offering a unique opportunity to create our very own DIY self-affirmation mirrors! 🪞 This activity is designed to help us reground ourselves and one another in love and positivity and to remind us of the beauty and power we hold as individuals and collectively as trans femme sisters. Our Small Business Program is launching a new Entrepreneur Training Program specifically designed for local LGBTQ visual artists in painting, photography, design, crafts, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and more. 🎨📸 In this four-week program, meeting 3 hours per week, you'll join a group of artists in a supportive and inclusive environment. Together, you'll learn about marketing, finance, business operations, and more. Through lectures, discussions, and assignments, you'll gain the knowledge and foundation needed for a successful artist business. Though Pride is all year round at the Center, this month, we have chosen to amplify our message of “Building the Block” at #SanFrancisco Pride. Building the Block reflects the collective strength and resilience of the LGBTQ community. Just like a strong building rises from individual bricks, our progress comes from each of us contributing our unique talents and experiences.
