At this month's Fresh Starts event, we're offering a unique opportunity to create our very own DIY self-affirmation mirrors! 🪞 This activity is designed to help us reground ourselves and one another in love and positivity and to remind us of the beauty and power we hold as individuals and collectively as trans femme sisters. Please join us TONIGHT from 6 to 8 PM at the Center for this empowering activity. We'll reflect, tenderly hold, and step into our trans femme power. Food and refreshments will be provided. RSVP here: https://lnkd.in/gseQEpBN ** Reminder ** Fresh Starts is a brand new trans femme-centered group at the Center, specifically and exclusively designed for those new to transitioning and deep in their journey. It's a safe space to ask questions, get resources, find mentorship, and kiki with other trans femmes in the Bay Area.

We are SO grateful to all the amazing volunteers, incredible staff, and beautiful community members who joined us for all of this weeks #Pride events, marches, and more! Though Pride is all year round at the Center, this month, we have chosen to amplify our message of “Building the Block” at #SanFrancisco Pride. Building the Block reflects the collective strength and resilience of the LGBTQ community. Just like a strong building rises from individual bricks, our progress comes from each of us contributing our unique talents and experiences. Shoutout to our very own Rebecca Rolfe, one of this year’s Pride Grand Marshal’s and winner of their Lifetime Achievement Award! 🥇💜 #PrideSeason

“We are really here building community to make sure that we are able to take care of each other. And we will continue to do that because that is what we do best” — Rebecca Rolfe, Executive Director This year, as we approach Pride season, a time when our community comes together to celebrate our identities and advocate for equality, we invite you to "Spring into Action" and support the SF LGBT Center today.  Your donation is essential to sustaining the Center's vital programs and ensuring it can continue to provide sanctuary and support for LGBTQ individuals for many years to come. If you make your gift by June 30th, every dollar donated up to $10,000 will be MATCHED by our generous partners at Redwood Credit Union.
