In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported our SAME Buffalo Post’s #DayWithAnEngineer STEM Event in collaboration with the Girl Scouts of Western New York. Special shout out to our board members Kaitlin McCormick, MBA, CEP, PMP and Caryn Kiehl-Simpson for organizing! Big thank you to the following organizations for leading activities at the event: Erie County, Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper, Carmina Wood Design, NextEra Energy Resources, GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., BE3 , National Fuel Gas Company, National Grid, WSP in the U.S., AECOM, and Colliers Engineering & Design! We had great representation this year with over 75 girl scouts attending, it was an amazing success! A few quotes from GSWNY parents after the event: “Had a blast at this event!
