About us
Salvo Health enables providers treating chronic GI and metabolic liver conditions to enable their practices and hospital departments to move from episodic appointments to offering continuous "wraparound care." Salvo lets providers including GI private practices, primary care population health ACOs, and health systems to deliver interdisciplinary follow-on care, while keeping patients under their doctor's supervision. In a coordinated approach, doctors can add a team dedicated to follow-on, personalized care plans for each patient, including registered dietitians, gut health specialized nurses, and behavioral health support. This improves patient outcomes and access, while also generating a new service line of revenue for providers, leveraging remote patient monitoring (RPM) covered by insurance, and building a bridge towards Value Based Care bundled services.

Big news today with Pinnacle GI partnering to bring Salvo programs to patients in Michigan!
Big news as Salvo Health today announced our collaboration with Pinnacle GI Partners and the news hit the wires. It's exciting to partner with innovators such as Partha Nandi MD FACP and Tom Dudley. We've long admired Dr. Nandi the Chief Medical Officer at Pinnacle for his advocacy and patient education beyond just pharmaceuticals and procedures, to "whole patient" health... including nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, microbiome, brain-gut and behavioral health, and environmental/social aspects. Pinnacle is the largest private #gastroenterology practice in Michigan so within weeks Pinnacle patients will be able to enroll in Salvo programs (covered by insurance via RPM CCM) while remaining supervised by their Pinnacle physician. https://lnkd.in/evUBM7Jn #healthcare #innovation #collaboration

After an impactful experience at the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) Annual Conference in Denver we came back inspired, challenged by new learnings, and ready to get back to work! With Anti-Obesity Medications (AOMs) on the rise and many new options in trials and FDA clearance, it is an exciting time to take on the possible. Our team is more convinced than ever that providers, patients, and clinical support deserve engaging, wraparound care programs that empower patients through every phase of AOMs, delight doctors, and lead to improved long-term #clinical outcomes. Our Salvo Health Cross-functional Care Approach is: ✅ Focused on root cause medicine and prioritizes treating the whole person ✅ Dedicated to lifelong impact through the power of lifestyle changes, social support, behavioral health care, and community coupled with medication management ✅ Rooted in the belief that lasting change is incremental ✅ Personalized for patients with care plans that are developed in a way that is both practical and targeted to take on changes that make a difference We partner with the best providers to scale their impact, increase their insight and revenue, and empower their patients, leaving everyone happier and healthier. If you are a clinic, provider or other healthcare organization interested in wraparound care for your patients contemplating, taking, or titrating off AOMs, please contact Amanda Sussex or email [email protected]. #healthcare #technology #OMA #AOM #GLP1s #wraparound #clinics #wholeperson #rootcause

Our CEO Jeff Glueck explains the importance of gut health including behavioral health, #foodasmedicine, and lifestyle medicine as part of addressing our obesity and chronic GI challenges in the US, and even making new medications such as #GLP-1 agonists sustainable.
Glad to share my thoughts on #guthealth, obesity & metabolic care with Nolan Shah on the Healthy Returns podcast, featuring Salvo Health. Hot take: digital innovations are exciting, but there's immense value in trusted, local, in-person physicians. That's why #hybridcare, combining the best of bricks & mortar clinics with follow-up whole health daily care, is the medical care of the future. Excited to see how this model will continue to evolve and improve patient outcomes. #healthcare #medicalinnovation #patientcare https://lnkd.in/edTwhU7T

US chronic disease and obesity rates keep rising, approaching nearly 50% by 2030, and medical providers need to be guiding patients away from misinformation and how to fit healthier approaches into their lives while feeling good about themselves by taking small steps each week.
The Washington Post's recent expose reveals that #BigFood companies are using influencers to promote sugary, high-carb cereals and processed foods under the guise of "anti-diet" and inclusivity. At Salvo Health, we believe that it's crucial to focus on being healthy rather than weight loss alone. In our programs for patients with obesity or metabolic liver disorders like MASLD, we prioritize providing support and understanding to everyone. However, spreading misinformation that obesity isn't linked to chronic diseases is anti-science and driven by greed. Big Corporations must be held accountable for false advertising, and the FDA should take action. Meanwhile, we remain committed to providing our patients with medically-accurate, evidence-based information and protocols, and partnering with GI providers for our obesity and MASLD programs. #healthylifestyle #obesityawareness #medicallyaccurate #evidencebased #inclusivehealthcare https://lnkd.in/eeJgym4p

What was your reaction to the Kellog's CEO comments that have been described as "Let them eat Flakes!"?
The Kellogg's CEO's recent comments on eating cereal for dinner have sparked a conversation that is particularly resonant for those of us in health tech fighting chronic health conditions. The Standard American Diet (SAD) is high in ultra-processed foods and low in fiber and fresh vegetables, contributing to GI and liver disease and obesity. US food policy encourages the consumption of carbs and processed foods, rather than organic fruits and vegetables. This has resulted in the US spending double on healthcare compared to the average of OECD countries. At Salvo Health, we are educating patients on how to make healthier choices, but larger policy changes are needed to address this issue. #healthylifestyle #foodpolicy #chronicdiseaseprevention
