However, their robustness against adversarial examples remains a challenge. Our study introduces a probabilistic approach to evaluate this robustness and presents ProTIP, an efficient framework for its verification with statistical guarantees. 🔍 Key Highlights: 1. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝟐𝐈 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬: We propose a new notion and formal metrics of probabilistic robustness specifically for T2I Diffusion Models. 2. 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: ProTIP employs sequential analysis and adaptive concentration inequalities to efficiently verify robustness. 3. 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Our experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of ProTIP across three common T2I DMs. Additionally, ProTIP helps rank commonly used spell checkers (as defence methods). 🤝 I would like to extend my gratitude to my co-authors (Xiaowei Huang Siddartha Khastgir Paul Jennings Yun Tang @wenjieruan @yizhang). Brilliant three days of collaboration with NYK Line, & its R&D division (MTI) and Japan Marine Science on the Safety of Autonomous Ships in their Tokyo office. Together with Lloyd's Register, WMG, University of Warwick is excited to partner with one of the largest ship owners in the world (NYK Line) on Japan’s flagship MEGURI2040 DFFAS programme on Maritime autonomy. Honoured by their incorporation of our safety research using #ODD and #STPA concepts in the DFFAS programme and, it playing a key role in their thinking. Had a great fireside chat at MOVE: Mobility Re-imagined 2024 with Sarah Gates from Wayve discussing 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 for #Selfdriving vehicles.
