Last month, SAF/IA Director of Policy, Programs, and Strategy Steven Ruehl delivered a keynote address at the Air Attaché Association-Washington DC quarterly luncheon. The AAA brings together U.S.-based foreign air and space attachés with the intent of enhancing collaboration and information exchange with the United States Department of the Air Force and among its members. As the event was held on September 11th, Ruehl discussed his experience working at the Pentagon on the day of the attacks and talked about the value of international partnerships and cooperation in the months and years after. Ruehl also highlighted the necessity of continuing to work closely with Allies and partners given today’s changing threat landscape. #SecurityThroughCooperation #StrongerTogether

Last week, we proudly marked the successful completion of the Inter-European Aviation Safety Program Management (IEASPM) and the Inter-European Basic Instructor Course (IEBIC)! Over the past two weeks, 38 talented professionals from 16 different countries engaged in intensive learning. Our IEASPM participants delved into aviation safety case studies, while our IEBIC cohort refined their instructional skills. Through collaboration, they overcame cultural and social barriers, forming a unified, cohesive team. Congratulations to our graduates as they advance in their military careers.
