Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers is the underwriting division of Ryan Specialty, an international specialty insurance organization. At Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, our family of 21 MGUs provides commercial insurance solutions for over 80 lines of business in unique market niches. We serve the retail and wholesale agent/broker community, and each of our MGUs provide superior expertise in areas where specialization offers tremendous advantages to each respective client. Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers covers a broad spectrum of industries including financial services, energy, construction, healthcare, among others and a wide range of specialties such as Cyber Liability, Commercial Auto, Directors and Officers, and more. What remains consistent amongst each MGU is the deep expertise that we possess in the dynamic and challenging market we serve. What does it mean to be an MGU? Ryan Specialty has announced a succession plan that builds on the firm’s strong and deep leadership team, which will be implemented in October. Under the plan, Pat Ryan, our Founder, Chairman & CEO, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman. He will be succeeded in the CEO role by Tim Turner, current President of Ryan Specialty and Chairman & CEO of RT Specialty. Our current CFO, Jeremiah Bickham, will become President, and Janice Hamilton, current Chief Accounting Officer, will become Ryan Specialty’s next CFO. We are thrilled to have a such a talented team at Ryan Specialty, and these promotions from within reflect our commitment to attracting and developing exceptional leaders.
