Black Enterprise Magazine Women of Power summit was truly empowering. The highlight moment was when I got to ask #SherriShephard, host of the "Sherri" show about featuring black women in tech to support the community - including Rubitection Inc.. Had the great pleasure of attending Black Enterprise Magazine's #WomenofPower Summit last month. It was a great opportunity to meet and network with other ambitious professional women, learn from their journey, and have opportunities to hear from leaders in the black community including Mellody Hobson, Valerie Jarrett, and Symone D. Sanders Townsend. It was amazing! It also gave me an opportunity to shoot my shot with one of the guest speakers, #SherriShepherd, host of the talk show "Sherri", to explore her interest in featuring/supporting black women in tech (a largely overlooked group) including Rubitection Inc. To my surprise there could be an opportunity - if I can find #sponsorship (working on it) - thanks to the audience's cheers of support! Will keep you updated.
