    🚀 One thing’s for sure: The DMEXCO - Digital Marketing Expo & Conference 24 – was an absolute blast, and the Future TV stage was the place to be!    We had the pleasure of hearing insightful talks from Frank Vogel and Ricarda Jebsen on #AdtechmadeinEurope – a groundbreaking initiative featuring an incredible tech partnership network between RTL Deutschland and ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE that's set to shake up the AdTech world. 🔥🌍    A day after Thomas Servatius of smartclip and Thomas Peruzzi of Virtual Minds explained in more detail the next steps of this collaboration.    Daniel Knapp, Chief Economist at IAB Europe, discussed the European online advertising market, noting that France and Germany remain "sleeping giants" in the realm of digital advertising.    DMEXCO 24 was the perfect space for networking, engaging in meaningful conversations, and being inspired by all the amazing talks and presentations.    While not as obvious as it once was, it still rings true: The big screen provides maximum ad effectiveness. Guaranteeing reach and attention, the combination of mass audiences addressed through linear TV and targeted #ATV ads on Smart TVs has huge potential.    DMEXCO 24 did not disappoint! The Ad Alliance study ‘Unlocking the Walled Gardens’ compares the effectiveness of TV, digital, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. In this study, advertising contacts of TV and all digital channels were measured over a four-month period, investigating the food retail and shampoo industry. 𝟱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆'𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: 💡 Social media provides only a small incremental reach in comparison to TV. 📌 The media and non-media touchpoints show strong differences in the frequency with which they reach consumers and the quality with which they are experienced. 🚀 While achieving an enormous reach, TV also delivers a strong quality of experience. Social media offers a good quality of experience but lacks the necessary reach. 🔎 The touchpoint effect mostly takes place in the middle funnel stages, with the preferred brand and in the relevant set. 👏 TV was found to be highly effective across all age groups.
