It’s National HBCU Week! Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are not just institutions of higher learning; they are living legacies that have shaped our history and continue to inspire future generations. The rich heritage of HBCUs is reflected in their historic campuses, long-standing traditions, and countless stories of resilience and achievement. In 1980, the importance of these institutions was recognized by designating a week in September as National HBCU Week. At Rollins, we’re honoring the contributions of these institutions by featuring our teammates who are proud HBCU graduates. Stay tuned as they share the impact their alma maters have had on their lives.

This month, Rollins proudly celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to recognize and honor the rich culture, contributions, and history of the Hispanic and Latinx communities. From now until October 15, we reflect on the profound influence they have had on shaping our society, both within our organization and across the country. Last week, many of our supply partners came together in Atlanta, GA for our second annual Partner Summit to discuss ways we can collaborate to drive innovation. Rollins President and CEO, Jerry Gahlhoff discussed his vision for Rollins and the need for our partners to help foster an environment where we can share ideas and best practices. Other topics included Rollins’ exploration of technology-based solutions to provide greater protections for our teammates working in the field, and an increased focus on environmentalism for fleet. We’re excited about our future plans and look forward to continuing our partnerships!
