Rocket Doctor is incredibly proud to announce the launch of our partnered program for healthcare accessibility in New York City! In partnership with EngageWell IPA, and with support from the New York Health Foundation and New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute, this project addresses disparities in access to health care via Rocket Doctor’s physician network, remote-patient monitoring technology (RPM), and Community Healthcare Workers (CHW) from the Asian Community Care Organization (ACCO). Through this partnership, residents across 11 NYC-based housing programs can access primary, urgent care, and mental health services through our digital platform and physician network. Residents can quickly and easily connect to a clinician from their own devices, or with one of our RPM kiosks supported by CHWs. We want to express our gratitude to the New York Health Foundation and NYS DOH AIDS Institute for their financial support, and to the EngageWell and ACCO teams, without whom this project would not be possible. With our collective knowledge, skills, and commitment, we are bridging gaps in healthcare accessibility, ensuring no patient is left behind.

Rocket Doctor is thrilled to start the week by introducing CareSpace LFP, an exciting new longitudinal family practice group (LFP) focused on expanding primary care in British Columbia! This innovative model was built and owned 100% by physicians to create a hybridized in-person and virtual care shared-model, providing comprehensive, longitudinal primary care, while ensuring the highest clinical standards. Currently, we have 5 amazing physicians in the group, with over 400 patients already rostered who previously had no access to comprehensive care. This LFP allows doctors to deliver essential family medicine across the province, leveraging technology and innovative models. Exciting News! 🚀 With our expanding footprint in California we are now opening the doors to licensed providers in the State to join our team and start their own virtual practices! We are currently open for LCSWs, Board Certified Psychiatrists, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine Physicians licensed to practice in California interested in providing behavioral health / mental health services. MDs coming in will join the team in providing behavioral health services to Medi-Cal and Medicare patients, building your own schedules and practicing the way you want. Full credentialing, payer enrollment, and medical mal-practice insurance will be provided. This is your chance to be your own boss, and scale your practice as you like while making a difference. We are looking for folks that are keen on growing our presence in the State, while being committed to our mission of expanding equitable access to care for all patients! It aims to diverse and impact-driven founders, validate transformative technologies, and pilot innovative solutions that enhance health equity, access, quality, and cost for underserved communities in California and Colorado. We are honored to have made it to this stage, a testament to our efforts to advance healthcare through innovation, collaboration, and community building. Last week, at Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First - Demo Day 2024, Dr. William Cherniak took to the stage to talk about the most pressing challenges in our healthcare system and how Rocket Doctor is helping to address them. It was also an opportunity to provide a first-look at our new AI-driven solutions. Bill explained how unnecessary visits to the ER, limited access to key populations and MD burnout are just a few of the factors Rocket Doctor is addressing, and how our tech is providing solutions for healthcare providers to bridge access to care for millions of patients across the US and Canada. Introducing our latest innovations: RD Connect: A system that automates triage for virtual care, helping patients determine if they need an in-person visit or if they can receive care virtually. RD Health Voyager: Streamlining administrative tasks by summarizing and synthesizing medical records from numerous sources into concise, actionable information. We’re thrilled to have been a part of this inaugural AI First Accelerator program, and know this is just the beginning to develop further solutions that empower healthcare providers and patients across North America! We are thrilled to announce that Brian Geller, our Medical Director for Canada, will be a guest speaker at the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) Conference 2024. The conference runs from June 9-12 at TCU Place in Saskatoon. Brian will discuss the pivotal role of virtual care in emergency departments, how it can assist in relieving emergency department volumes, and how it supports the sustainability of underserved ERs. CAEP24 is a fantastic conference, bringing together emergency physicians from across Canada to network, collaborate, and discuss new and emerging research areas in Canadian Emergency Medicine. Attendees will have the opportunity to apply up-to-date evidence to inform clinical and health systems decisions, advance equity, diversity, and inclusion in health care, and integrate best practices, techniques, innovations, and strategies into emergency medicine practice. #CAEP2024

BC Rocket Doctors Get-Together! This week, Rocket Doctor hosted an amazing event with MDs on the platform in Vancouver! It was a night filled with refreshments, great food, and great company. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, unwind, and also to discuss some exciting initiatives in the province that are helping us expand access to care. This includes the setup of a Longitudinal Family Practice (CareSpace LFP) and a new weight and health management program.
