Congratulations to Maritza M., PCT on G1 for being awarded the PCT of the Year for Telemetry! Colleagues wrote, “As a PCT Lead, Maritza works hard to bring the whole Telemetry Department together by hosting meetings to help with improvement projects ranging from falls to transport and patient experience. She is also co-chair on the Professional Practice Committee. Maritza is instrumental in G1’s success with the improvement of oral care and ambulation documentation. She is all about teamwork and brings the staff together. Maritza builds compassionate and yet fun relationships with patients and they look forward to seeing her when she enters the room. HEART HUDDLE! Kathleen V., Volunteer in Cardiac Rehab The Cardiac Rehab team wrote, “Kathleen is a valuable asset to the cardiac rehab team. She is always reliable and resourceful. Kathleen has built strong relationships with our patients who love her. She goes above and beyond by sharing heart healthy recipes with the patients throughout the program.
