Imagine the potential for your business with the right support and guidance. At RICE, we're developing uncommon and strategic growth opportunities through our programming to ensure Black businesses win! Stakeholders like Jennifer Barbosa exemplify the success we strive for. As the visionary behind International Supply Partners, LLC, Jennifer recently onboarded into our UPS Launchpad, securing Amazon as a client through Ware2Go Through RICE’s Supply Chain Accelerator (SCA), Jennifer has positioned her business to compete on a grand scale. SCA is more than a program—it's a transformative journey. Designed to elevate businesses, SCA prepares our Stakeholders for significant opportunities with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. By focusing on contract readiness and advancing beyond education to equity, the SCA offers contracting opportunities. This innovative program reverse engineers the contract acquisition process, working directly with corporations to enhance access and equity in purchasing and procurement for Black entrepreneurs. Our program is immersive and expert-driven, featuring insights and tailored technical assistance from industry leaders like The Walt Disney Company, UPS The Clorox Company Target and King & Spalding Special thanks to Paul Adamson and Treneice Mills from Amazon for stopping by RICE this week and thank you to Quintin Bostic, Ph.D. and Janazya T. for helping RICE nurture our partnerships. We’re incredibly proud of our SCA Stakeholders and can’t wait to highlight the next success story out of RICE —guaranteed there will be more to come! This is #TheRICEWay More of Jennifer’s story to come!

Ensuring we stay RICE Ready means sometimes taking the time to recharge. The power of renewal is a true gift—it’s refreshing, insightful, and an opportunity to really focus in on your “why”. RICE had the privilege of being selected as one of a small group of nonprofits to participate in Babson College’s Nonprofit Entrepreneurial Leadership program, in partnership with the Arthur Blank Foundation, held at West Creek Ranch in Montana. The immersion of learning through community, classroom, and nature was an unparalleled experience for leadership. We eagerly anticipate the tools our President and CEO, Jay Bailey, and our Executive Vice President and CAO, Shawn M. Graham, CPA , will bring back to RICE. A heartfelt thank you to Babson College, Cheryl Kiser, Dr. Tina O., Jennifer MacDonald, Arthur M. Blank, and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Fay Twersky, Daniel Shoy, Rachel (Ward) Jackson, and the entire staff at West Creek Ranch for hosting RICE. Opportunities like this shape the best leaders and truly allow RICE to serve our mission.

MOIIA's Nicholas Mulkey recently attended Islandpreneur Power Fest in Sint Maarten, a collaboration between the U.S. Mission to the Dutch Caribbean and Islandpreneur. This summit is underpinned by the U.S. Department of State POWER program (Providing Opportunities for Women’s Economic Rise), which since its inception in 2019, has been instrumental in leveraging diplomatic and private sector resources to enhance women's access to vital skills and networks. Alongside Venture Atlanta, Atlanta Tech Village, and Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, Nick exemplified Atlanta as as a destination for expansion to business owners from around the Caribbean. Ranked as one of the best cities to live and do businesses, they helped facilitate business matching, bolstering foreign trade, and opening up new market opportunities in Atlanta.
