Congratulations to Portsmouth Housing Authority on receiving a $140,000 state grant to cover their solar install. In bringing solar to the Atlantic Heights senior housing development, this project helps expand access to renewable energy in NH. Our employee-owner Jude Nuru, Ph.D., director of community solar initiatives, is leading this project. "This project will help lessen our reliance on fossil fuels and will enable us to harness the power of the sun to create a more sustainable and cost efficient way to generate electricity. We are grateful for ReVision Energy’s leadership and for the New Hampshire Department of Energy’s forward-thinking approach. All the money saved on our electricity bills at Atlantic Heights will go back into the complex, specifically by funding air quality improvements and new accessibility features to allow seniors to continue to live independently.” - PHA Executive Director Craig Welch https://lnkd.in/e4TrZbHM

In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, the The Washington Post compared gas/diesel generators to solar storage, and came out with a clear winner. Want to learn more about solar storage for your home or business? Shoot us an email: [email protected] “A gas backup generator for your home is like an insurance policy where it doesn’t provide any value until you have a very bad day,” said Mark Dyson, managing director of carbon-free electricity at the energy think tank RMI. “Other solutions that we’re interested in exploring — like solar plus storage, for example — save money every day and then also provide backup in an emergency.” “The difference is that the diesel generator just sits there decaying, whereas the solar plus battery system is giving you value all the time and adding a battery can give you resilience,” Smith said. https://lnkd.in/gx32FBhe

ReVision Energy is proud to have signed this letter via New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility (NHBSR) calling on NH policymakers to reject the wave of anti-LGBTQ policies put forth recently. We love living and working in New Hampshire but cannot keep growing here if the state continues to unfairly target LGBTQ individuals. We believe in a just and equitable future for our kids and grandkids, and that must include trans and queer youth. 🌈 Read the full letter and sign on if you're a New Hampshire business! https://lnkd.in/eHj5i8_M

The solar array we recently installed for Truro Vineyards Of Cape Cod will not only 100% offset their warehouse's electric bill, but will also provide enough clean solar energy to help offset the production floor, offices, and retail shop. That means all of the energy needed to produce local gin, rum, whiskey, and amaro will now be generated with the power of the sun - saving the business money and making the company more resilient in the face of increasing electric bills. "Here on the Cape, we create premium wines and spirits amid pristine beaches. We recognize how truly unique and incredible that is,” [Truro Vineyards Owner] David Roberts Jr. said. “Investing in solar energy reflects our commitment to responsible land stewardship and our hope for the future — to continue making wines and spirits for as long as possible. We’re proud to partner with ReVision Energy, a local B Corp certified solar installer that shares our dedication to our community and environment.” Thanks for the feature Solar Power World: https://lnkd.in/eBW6V35y

Out of office! ✌️ We started doing a week-long summer break for all ReVision Energy employee-owners a few years ago and it's been a huge hit. Why is a companywide break so successful? 🔅 Allows everyone to rest, spend time with family, and enjoy summer in New England 🔅 Easier to unplug; no fear of missing out on emails, messages, or announcements 🔅 Fewer emails to catch up on when we return 🔅 Less pressure to 'get everything set up' for someone covering your position 🔅 40% of workers in the U.S. say they would take more time off if it was companywide We care about excellent customer service, so a few essential members of our Service team will be working next week in case of emergencies - they will get their week break later in the summer. Stepping away collectively for this break means that our employee-owners will return refocused and more motivated than ever. We'll be back on July 8th but in the meantime feel free to explore our blog and website: https://lnkd.in/eA8dW4uK #EnjoyTheSun #BCorp #EmployeeOwned #ESOP
