Read Karen Phillips' reflections on the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) National Conference. This is the 4th year Restore Hope has had the opportunity to share in a breakout session about their upstream efforts and progress. Arkansas had great representation at the conference and Restore Hope leadership connected with several partners including Arkansas Division of Children and Family Services, Connected, The Call, Project Zero, Compact, Sparrows Promise, and Immerse Arkansas. This interaction highlighted the strong network within the state working towards a common goal of supporting families. Benton County Judge Barry Moehring emphasized the incredible impact of local nonprofits, volunteers, and faith-based organizations in the aftermath of the devastating tornadoes that hit the county in May. He noted that an ongoing challenge is organizing these kinds of outpourings of support. He said efforts like the community-led 100 Families Initiative, which uses software to connect community service providers, are changing that. 🫶 Together, we’re stronger! #CommunityResilience #StrongerTogether #BentonCounty #NonprofitHeroes https://lnkd.in/diq78uwK
