Love to see it! California funders came together this week to talk climate, conservation and community resilience in coastal areas. Check out these pics from Tuesday's gathering of the Climate Funders’ Collaborative - part of TFN's Smart Growth California initiative - at San Diego's Kendall-Frost Marsh Reserve. During the gathering, funders: 🌊 Met with leaders from the ReWild Mission Bay Coalition to learn about efforts to enhance and restore the bay’s natural wetlands - which would mean cleaner water, greater climate resilience and increased carbon sequestration - and improve public access along the public bayfront. 🌊 Heard from partners working on the conservation of San Diego’s coastal lagoons, and other resilience efforts for our coastal communities. 🙏 Special thanks to: Jelani O. from the Builders Initiative for helping organize this session!
