Opening in 2022, the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions located on 301 Water St SE, Washington DC, is a consortium and collaboration facility that brings together leaders and thinkers from across the water sector, policy world and beyond. Our aim is to develop breakthrough ideas and solutions, eliminate barriers, and advance the water sector’s work to overcome critical water and sustainability challenges. The Center is located along the banks of the Anacostia River in Washington, DC’s Navy Yard, and provides event, work and meeting space. MISSION - To advance the shared interests of the water sector through collaboration and constructive dialogue to make progress towards overcoming global water challenges. VISION - Create a world where water issues are no longer a constraint to human health, prosperity, or environmental sustainability. STRATEGIC PILLARS • CONVENE – Create a shared space for collaboration and innovation. • IDEATE AND DRIVE ACTION – Host programs that drive action in the water sector. • EDUCATE AND ELEVATE – Facilitate community outreach and water-sector education. Through the Reservoir Affiliate Program, we engage with leading trade associations, policy makers, think tanks, philanthropic foundations, and academic institutions, and collaborate through: • The joint development of public events, outreach, and educational activities to advance progress on the themes of global water affordability, scarcity, and resilience; and • The use of the Reservoir physical space to advance water sector-wide collaboration. Through our Rising Leaders (early career) and Reservoir Youth (high school through college) Networks, we also engage and encourage the next generation of water leaders and influencers.
