🚀 Enlit Europe 2024 has come to an end, and what an incredible ride it’s been! Milan, you truly impressed! We’re leaving with fresh insights, exciting new connections, and a renewed passion to drive the future of energy flexibility. One of the best highlights? Our brunch session with smartEn Smart Energy Europe ! ☕ It was a fantastic opportunity to co-exhibit at their booth and witness quick-fire pitches from some of the brightest minds in the energy sector. 🚀 ✨ Special shoutout to our CTO Cristina Corchero, PhD, who presented our results at the Reschool Project at her talk, “Unlocking the Power of Smart Energy: A New Era in Efficiency, Flexibility, and Innovation.” She shared how Bamboo Energy is actively managing energy communities and unlocking the flexibility through our disruptive platform. ⚡ A huge thank you to smartEn Smart Energy Europe and everyone who stopped by our booth! The last day at #ENLIT has been very enriching! ⚡ It was fantastic to share the booth with our sister projects and explore exciting new #collaboration possibilities. ⚡ We were glad to have the opportunity to meet up with our project partners, exchanging ideas and strengthening our ongoing work for Reschool Project. ⚡ Our energy community card game aroused the curiosity of ENLIT visitors - exactly what we had hoped for! ⚡ This morning's workshop with the #SmartEnergyCluster was especially fruitful, with valuable input from our colleagues at RESONANCE Project. Several promising ideas have coe up for future cooperation. ⚡ Overall, the last 3 days have been an inspiring mix of networking, knowledge-sharing, and strategic discussions that will help drive our #energycommunity initiatives forward.

We proudly present Sweden's first energy community Hammarby Sjöstad! The community involves nine housing cooperatives, with hopes to eventually include over 20,000 residents in the future. The focus lies on utilising renewable energy sources such as solar panels, battery storage and virtual #electricity sharing, though current Swedish legislation poses challenges to this vision. Supported by the RESCHOOL project, Hammarby Sjöstad is working to standardise data and develop a #smartgrid, aiming to improve #energyefficiency and resident engagement through tools like the Local Life #app. This initiative empowers #residents to participate in the #energytransition while striving to make Hammarby Sjöstad climate-positive by 2030, serving as an example of #innovation, #community collaboration, and sustainable #urbandevelopment.
