I provide boiler training for service technicians

So excited by this find. So, at #Boiler2024 at the Honeywell booth, they had this pressure gauge installed on a gas train. I love the high visibility face of the pressure gauge and decided to look up the manufacturer as I have never heard of them. Well Reotemp Instruments might be my new favorite gauge company for one sole reason. They make it easy to select their product. Their pressure gauge configurator shows all the available options for each pressure gauge model and changes the list price with every change in option selected. It also shows a live view of what the pressure gauge should look like as options are added. Then, when you are done configuring the pressure gauge, you can download a PDF that shows all of the options for that particular gauge. No more highlighting a bunch of codes and putting them together and hoping you are configuring the gauge that you want. Also available are custom color ranges or zones for the gauge face to help you identify where pressure readings should be. I love it when companies make it easy to understand and order their products. Pressure gauges are simple, but stringing together a long model number of options that you want and hoping it is correct is unnecessary. So, if you need pressure gauges or any pressure or temperature instrument, go check out Reotemp Instruments. Oh and Made in USA. Just thought I would share this with you if you are looking for a different pressure or temperature gauge manufacturer. #boilers #manufacturing #pressure #steam #usa

    Chief Executive at REOTEMP

It was the summer of 2008. I had a meeting with an engineering supervisor at an offshore drilling operator. He was more than an hour late - something about an emergency shutdown at one of their rigs. Hurrying into his office, the giant Texan cuts me off mid-introduction, "Gauges, huh? You want to sell me gauges, right now? Give me a gauge my guys can read, day or night, without dangling over a handrail 40 feet above the water." Two months later we debuted the HiVis Dial. And for the last fifteen years we've had our "Why".
