Established in 1872, Regions Hospital is a private, nonprofit teaching hospital providing healthcare services in St. Paul and its surrounding communities, as well as for patients throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin and other Midwestern states. Between the excessive heat and storm warnings, this year’s Minnesota State Fair has been anything but dull for our EMS event medicine team. The team is back at the Fair this year for the 16th consecutive year, and today, they got a visit from new Regions President Emily Blomberg. Also today, we got a visit from Ashes, a public safety service dog from the City of Roseville, MN Fire Department. The fairgrounds become a temporary city of 2 million people for 12 days each year, and Regions EMS is prepared to meet their medical needs. Kudos to this awesome team!
