Regency is thrilled to announce that we are serving as the Construction Manager at Risk for the adaptive reuse of Joseph’s Home, a respite care facility for men experiencing homelessness. Joseph and Mary’s Home, a ministry of Sisters of Charity Health System, provides a warm and safe environment for individuals to recuperate and access housing resources. This adaptive reuse will involve converting a dialysis center into a men’s respite care facility with a kitchen, office space, clinic, and 11 single occupancy rooms. Regency previously completed renovations to the adjacent Mary’s Home and we are pleased to be continuously involved in the improvement of these incredibly important resources in Cleveland. Very special thanks to Beth Graham for driving these efforts forward! These renderings created by project architect Hiti, DiFrancesco & Siebold, Inc. are conceptual and subject to change.

Today we are reflecting on the lessons learned from Construction Inclusion Week (CIW) with a few highlights from last week. Each day Toolbox Talks were held to discuss the relevant CIW topics. Pictured below is one of our Superintendents discussing the topic of commitment and accountability with his staff. In the middle of the week Regency assembled representatives from several subcontractors and hosted a job fair to provide people in the community the chance to explore union construction opportunities in Cleveland. With our apprenticeship program Regency contributes to workforce development; training and retaining skilled workers within the construction industry. We will carry the lessons learned in Construction Inclusion Week forward and continue to strive for a higher standard of inclusivity and respect!

Today is the final day of Construction Inclusion Week (CIW), and we at Regency hope that the initiative has proven as thought provoking for the rest of the industry as it has for our employees. We are always seeking to improve our own inclusivity, and programs such as CIW promote reflection and provide guidance.

Regency is proud to be serving as the Construction Manager at Risk for the renovation and expansion of the City of Bay Village Fire Station! We're set to enhance the station with renovations to the administration wing and apparatus bays, as well as new construction living quarters — all designed to accommodate firefighters and enhance their response to the community. This project is a crucial step in modernizing the facility to meet current fire station design trends, emphasizing safety with designated zones for hot (dirty), cold (clean), and transition areas to reduce contamination risks. Regency is committed to maintaining uninterrupted operations, ensuring the station is always ready to respond to emergencies. These renderings, created by project architect Mull and Weithman Architects, Inc., are conceptual and subject to change — final design approval is currently underway.
