Don't know about you, but I've been feeling frustrated lately with YouTube thanks to annoying ads popping up left, right, and center. But YouTube might just have a solution up its sleeve. They're testing a new feature that lets you skip straight to the good bits of a video with just a double tap on your touchscreen. Yep, no more endless scrolling or getting bom-barded with stock tips and travel ads. Just a quick tap, and BAM! - you're at the juiciest part of the video, all thanks to AI analyzing viewer behavior patterns. And here's the best part: This feature isn't just for us viewers. Nope, creators can use it too. So whether you're watching or making videos, you'll be able to zip straight to the action in no time. Now, I know what you're thinking - "But wait, isn't this just for YouTube Premium us-ers?" Well, for now, yes. But good things come to those who wait, right? Once they're done testing it out, we might just see it roll out to everyone. If you're like me and you're tired of playing the ad game, maybe it's time to consider taking the plunge and upgrading to YouTube Premium. Strictly for saving time at work, of course! #YouTube #NewFeature #YouTubePremium https://lnkd.in/gbDXbeQ7

Ever heard of Ronald Wayne? You haven’t? Don't worry - you're not alone. Ronald was actually one of the OG co-founders of Apple Computer waaay back in 1976. Yep, he was there right at the start, alongside the big names like Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Now, here's where it gets interesting: Ronald didn't stick around for the long haul. Nope, he packed his bags just eleven days after Apple was born, selling his ten percent share for a cool $800. Sounds like a steal, right? Fast forward to 1982, and that same share would've been worth a jaw-dropping $1.5 billion. And today? Try $250 billion on for size. So, why did Ronald bail so soon? Turns out, he wasn't too keen on the partnership agreement that left him personally liable for any debts. Plus, he had some other busi-ness ventures to tend to. But hey, hindsight is 20/20, right? Or in Ronald's case, $250 billion. So, next time you're chatting about tech giants like Jobs, Gates, and Musk, don't forget to give a shoutout to the unsung hero, Ronald Wayne. #Apple #RonaldWayne #TechHistory https://lnkd.in/gbFa_xp8

Can you believe it, Microsoft has been sitting on a little time capsule for nearly 30 years, and I only just found out. Way back when, at Microsoft HQ, a software developer whipped up a temporary dialog box for formatting drives. It was supposed to be a quick fix, nothing fancy. But guess what? That "temporary" fix is still kicking around in Windows 11 today. So, why hasn't Microsoft given this old dialog box a facelift? Well, sometimes, if it ain't broke, they figure there's no need to fix it. And I think they've got a point - why mess with something that's been working just fine for three decades? You and I know it's not all ancient history in Windows land. There's plenty of shiny new stuff to explore too. What’s your favorite Windows feature, past or present? #Windows #Microsoft #OldUpdate https://lnkd.in/gGjSzNCf

If you or your team are using free VPN apps (Virtual Private Network) on your An-droid devices, listen up - there's some scary stuff going on you need to know about. More than 15 free VPN apps on Google Play have been caught using software that turns your device into a proxy server. What does that mean? Basically, it routes internet traf-fic through your device to make it look legit, but in reality, it could be used for all sorts of shady stuff like cyber crime and shopping bots. Some of these apps use unethical tactics to sneak onto your device without you even knowing. And once they're in, they hijack your internet bandwidth and put you at risk of legal trouble. Not cool. What can you do to stay safe? First, check if you've got any free VPN apps on your device. If you do, update to the newest version ASAP - or just get rid of them altogether. Better safe than sorry. And if an app has been removed from Google Play, definitely uninstall it - that's a red flag right there. When it comes to VPNs, my advice would always be if you want real peace of mind, it’s worth investing in a paid VPN instead. Sure, it'll cost you a bit, but hey, can you really put a price on your online security? No! Your business’s data and reputation is worth more than a bit of cash. Are you worried about this one? #Android #FreeVPN #CyberSecurity https://lnkd.in/gv4RGgeH

Big news: Microsoft just dropped some major updates for Teams Phone and Teams Rooms, and trust me, you're gonna want to hear about them. First, let's talk about Teams Phone. Click-to-call is the feature I’ve been waiting for. Now, you can set up your website with a Teams Phone call button, making it really easy for customers to connect with you. Just one click, and they're chatting with a friendly rep via Teams Phone. How cool is that? And with the new side-by-side browser pop-out view and Copilot summaries, your em-ployees will have all the info they need right at their fingertips. Customer service is about to get a whole lot smoother. Now, let's talk Teams Rooms. Intelliframe already gives you a crystal-clear view of your meeting attendees, and automatic camera switching is coming later this year. It uses AI tools to find the best camera view in the room. People using it remotely always get the best seat in the house as it moves around between attendees for a more realistic view. Plus, speaker recognition and voice isolation features are on the horizon, making meetings even smoother and more efficient. And last but not least, Teams Rooms will soon support Windows Autopilot, making device installation a breeze. It’s worth noting that these features will only be available to Business and Enterprise subscribers, so if you’ve been waiting to make the upgrade, now’s the time. If I can help you with that, get in touch. #Microsoft #Teams #NewFeatures https://lnkd.in/gaynwU3E

Uh oh. A new phishing kit is targeting people who use Gmail and Microsoft email ac-counts. Phishing is like a fishing trip by criminals. But instead of fish, the catch of the day is your sensitive information - passwords, credit card numbers, you name it. How? By tricking you into handing it over, usually through a fake email or website that looks legit yet is anything but. Scarily, phishing has its own toolkit. It's like a cyber criminal's Swiss Army knife, packed with all the tricks and tools they need to reel you in. And this latest one - Tycoon 2FA - is the latest addition to their arsenal. This bad boy isn't your run-of-the-mill phishing kit either. It's next-level stuff. According to cyber security experts, Tycoon 2FA is constantly evolving to evade detection. It's got more than 1,100 domains up its sleeve and has been used in thousands of phishing attacks already. But here's where things get really scary: Tycoon 2FA can even bypass two-factor authentication (2FA) where you generate a login code on a different device. The bad guys are getting smarter. And the answer to this is a security review to make sure 1) you have the software protection, and 2) your team is trained to stay vigilant, stay informed, and always think twice before clicking any link or entering your login details. My team and I keep businesses around here safe. Get in touch if you want us to check how secure your business is. #CyberSecurity #PhishingScam #2FA https://lnkd.in/g_vCjiEw
