Here at Red Stone Equity Partners, we are proud to be a leader in the #affordablehousing industry. Since our inception more than 17 years ago, we have raised and invested over $10 billion of tax equity to facilitate the creation and/or preservation of more than 60,000 units of affordable housing for those in need of a place to call home. We take incredible pride in the impactful work we have accomplished to date here at Red Stone, but there is so much left to do – far too many Americans are under-served and under-housed, and the need for safe, secure, affordable housing has never been greater. We look forward to continuing to invest the time, energy and resources to advance our mission and to serve our valued employees, clients and the communities in which we work. “Since our founding, Red Stone Equity Partners has been at the forefront of the impact investing business. That’s who we are and what we do at our core.” -- Ryan Sfreddo, CEO | Red Stone Equity Partners Learn more about our company, people, partners, and a few projects highlighting the work we do in our latest video. Congratulations to all our partners on the Lirio #groundbreaking! We look forward to developing 112 units of #affordablehousing and #supportivehousing for the community!
Six years after being designated the Lirio site, we were thrilled to break ground with our partners at Housing Works, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The site will be the future home to 112 units of 100% affordable and supportive housing, space for tenants to receive crucial services from Housing Works, retail spanning 9th Avenue, and office space for the MTA that will allow them to strengthen their operations. We’re grateful to be commencing work on this public-private partnership. Thanks to our past and current colleagues at Hudson, Christopher Tepper, Aaron Koffman, and Michael Ohlhausen, who assembled this team and responded to this RFP 6 years ago, we wouldn’t be here without your steadfast commitment, vision, and determination, and to Sarah Pizer and Mallory Warner’s many years of hard work and dedication to getting us to this moment. Thanks to the team at CetraRuddy Architecture who have worked on this project since the RFP submission, EP Engineering, DeSimone, Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, GEODesign, Inc., Bright Power, Inc., and so many others who worked to make this project a reality. We could not have gotten here without our lawyers at Hirschen Singer & Epstein LLP and Bryan Cave LLP, who have dedicated many hours and worked masterfully with the various stakeholders to get us to this moment. Thank you to Community Board 4 Manhattan and Council Member Erik Bottcher for your thoughtful input, guidance, and commitment to this project. Special thanks to our financing partners Webster Bank, Merchants Bank IN, Red Stone Equity Partners LLC, and the entire team at HPD who has never wavered in their support for this project. And to the MTA team for their continued commitment and partnership. Hudson looks forward to revitalizing this once underutilized site and delivering 112 units of affordable and supportive housing!
