  • “The Red Cross’ mission uses the words “alleviate suffering” and this is our way to try to tie into that we want people to be able to reach their family members to let them know they are ok, to have those cellphones ready, to have those medical devices charged and ready to go. That’s our mission, that’s what we’re here for,” said Rob Edwards, with the Red Cross of Montana. Thanks to our Missoula community for pulling together and stepping up to protect friends and neighbors! 💪❤️ https://lnkd.in/guATfxjr

  • IT'S OFFICIAL! On Friday, we cut the ribbon at our new #TwinFalls blood donation center, 358 Cheney Dr W. Suite 103. We were joined by several special guests including Lt. Governor Scott Bedke, Twin Falls Mayor Ruth Pierce, Dr. Jarom Lamb from St. Luke's, the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and several other generous supporters. We thank everyone who helped make this happen. The #MagicValley now has another convenient way to give the gift of life.

  • As wildfires continue to spread across the West, many compassionate people are wondering the best way to ensure your neighbors receive the support they need. The best answer is with a financial donation. This type of gift is flexible, can be used to deliver aid without delays and allows us to provide a high standard of care with established vendor relationships. Our disaster response teams continue to provide around-the-clock care to evacuated residents throughout our region, in Montana, Idaho and East Oregon. We rely on the generosity of donors to help us meet immediate needs during disasters, big and small. Call 1-800-REDCROSS to make a donation over the phone, or visit redcross.org/local/montana or redcross.org/local/idaho to donate online. Your donation will be designated to the Red Cross closest to your address unless you designate otherwise. Thank you for your generosity during this difficult time.

  • THANKFUL THURSDAY: We are extremely thankful for the Markovich Family Foundation, for honoring Ruth and Joe Markovich through a gift to the Montana Biomedical Center, which includes the processing, collection and rare blood lab for our region. Joe and Ruth raised a strong and prosperous family, living in Butte, Missoula and Anaconda. In their later years, they both relied on blood products for their good health.
