We love it when our candidates are happy after working with us. 🎉 We never push our candidates into roles that aren't right for them, and try to send updates as often as possible during the interview process. The September job market is heating up. 🔥 As recruiters, we're seeing a decent amount of applications. BUT more and more roles open everyday to meet this demand. If you're a candidate, we always recommend some brief reflection before you start the search. And one of the questions to ask yourself should always be: what stage and size of a company do I want to work for? #ThrowbackThursday to the time I had a Billboard in Times Square! I came to New York five years ago and started building Recruiting from Scratch. There’s been a lot of ups and downs over the last few years - which come with the territory of running your own company - but I’m filing being featured on a billboard in Times Square under the “wins.” Super proud of our team for their work that brought us to this point. Thanks again to Brex for this opportunity! And as we head into September surge hiring, remember... Recruiting can be time consuming. But it doesn’t have to be. 

If you've helped your company hire before, we want to hear from you. Even in markets when there are more candidates in supply, we hear stories of why certain roles are hard to fill - especially senior ones. Think: Senior SWEs, Heads of Engineering or Product, VPs... But there can be many reasons why hiring feels difficult. Which of these have you struggled with the most when trying to make a hire?

We talk a lot about the founders we work with, but we also work closely with internal recruiting teams when they find they need extra hands.
