About us
Funded by Horizon 2020, the re-MODULEES project involves 16 partners from 8 countries and aims to create an EU-wide “umbrella” framework to support the renovation of existing residential buildings, so that they become more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The project includes physical hubs and a virtual renovation centre – an online platform that brings together technical, business, and financial solutions provided from other European projects. re-MODULEES is based on the generation of standard modules (created mainly by other, older or operating, related projects) for the renovation market activation and up-take. The digital platform offers combinational solutions, adapted to the specific needs of each user, through appropriate mechanisms and algorithms, by assembling and combining these individual elements / modules. The project, during its development, is supported by 4 physical hubs and 7 pilot markets, where the usability and efficiency of the model will be tested, in order to be shaped in its final form. During this process, real building owners, contractors, engineers, etc. in the pilot markets will participate in real renovation projects. Pilot markets are located in 7 different Member States. Re-MODULEES has the following five measurable objectives: 1. To make deep renovations easier, faster and more attractive for stakeholders by fostering market uptake and giving access to key results of relevant European projects. 2. To nudge relevant stakeholders to renovation by fostering holistic consumer-centred business models and decision tools, supported by evidence-based performances. 3. To facilitate decision making on deep renovation by tackling demand and supply sided social, financial and legal barriers. 4. To foster the implementation of the re-MODULEES actions in seven demonstration pilot markets. 5. To roll out the re-MODULEES concept on a European level, supported by a go-to-market exploitation at MS-level (Member-State level).

👋Yesterday, our CEO, Alessia Melasecche Germini, had the opportunity to intervene in the final Consortium Meeting of the H2020 re-MODULEES project. META Group has worked as the exploitation leading partner in the project, overseeing the coordination of exploitation activities and guiding partners through the go-to-market process for the project's innovative solutions. We were responsible for designing exploitation strategies for Key Exploitable Results (#KERs), supporting partners in targeting appropriate audiences and designing business plans for the sustainability of re-MODULEES solutions. 🚀 🏘️♻️The re-MODULEES project united 16 partners from 8 countries to develop an EU-wide framework aimed at enhancing the energy efficiency and sustainability of existing residential buildings.
