Torture and drug abuse are profound violations of human dignity, inflicting physical and psychological harm that transcends borders and generations. They impede sustainable development and undermine the very fabric of a just and equitable society. RASIT recognizes the crucial role of science in addressing these complex issues. We advocate for scientific advancements in rehabilitation and treatment for victims, as well as research to understand and prevent the root causes of torture and drug abuse.
