  • Join us in celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Federal Credit Union Act! 🎉 Since signed into law on June 26, 1934, this empowering legislation has created a strong foundation for the credit union movement by promoting thrift and a source of credit for provident or productive purposes. At RBFCU, we proudly celebrate its legacy, by providing affordable financial services that improve our members' well-being and quality of life. Learn more about the credit union advantage by visiting rbfcu.org/cuadvantage and help us spread the word on how credit unions make a difference! #FederalCreditUnionAct

  • We're thrilled to support the students and families of Panther Creek High School! Business Development Officer Refugio Rangel and staff from our DNT Eldorado Branch recently presented a sponsorship check to the Panther Creek Football Booster Club! We've proudly supported them since August 2023 and love showing our Panther pride by wearing their colors during football season. Go Panthers! 🐾

  • In recognition of Elder Abuse Awareness Month, we proudly joined members of our local Texas Department of Family and Protective Services division at the KSAT Community Townhall to spotlight this critical issue, but our work didn’t stop there! On June 15, we illuminated our building purple for #WorldElderAbuseAwarenessDay to continue raising awareness. In 2023, more than 3,000 cases of all types of elder abuse were investigated in Bexar County. While financial exploitation is just a piece of that puzzle, as a financial institution we remain committed to protecting our elders from abuse, financial fraud, and exploitation.

  • In recognition of Elder Abuse Awareness Month, we partnered with KSAT and Adult Protective Services (APS) to shed light on the importance of recognizing the signs of elder abuse and how to report it. https://lnkd.in/gc8JPw4F RBFCU's Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Fraud, Alexander Aguillen, sat down with APS representatives to discuss the wide range of abuses our elderly community may encounter. Thank you, Alex, for sharing your knowledge and expertise about how to help our vulnerable neighbors in this ongoing battle against financial exploitation.
