Sited on a peninsula with spectacular views across Lake Woodlands is our 111-unit residential development: The Ritz-Carlton Residences, The Woodlands. A tower at the peninsula’s headland steps down to a low-rise club building, with a smaller tower at the opposite end of the site. This massing creates a hierarchy of symmetries extending out into the landscape while striking an articulated silhouette on the skyline. The Ritz-Carlton Residences offers the variety and individuality expected of a great neighborhood, with 36 unique apartment plans and a breadth of amenities. Design led by Johnny Cruz, AIA; Paul Whalen, FAIA; and Luis Arturo Corzo Renderings courtesy of Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. #RAMSAcityliving #architectureanddesign #theresidencesatthewoodlands #architecturerendering

A notable gallery at the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art is a chapel designed in collaboration with artist Mimmo Paladino. Intended as a quiet place for meditation and small gatherings, this permanent installation includes a stained-glass window, incised wall frescoes, and a ceiling mosaic visible from the ground floor of the museum's atrium. The gallery's elliptical dome overhead has a complex geometry, which presented a unique challenge to Paladino. In response, he created a life-size, inverted model in his studio. There, he composed the tile mosaic, layering and binding it to a mesh — thereby enabling his team to transfer the mosaic to the gallery. Project led by Melissa DelVecchio, FAIA; Kim S.
