MMF-US Presents: Navigating Neurodivergence and Disability in Music Management with RAMPD (Thursday, June 27th, 4-5pm ET) One in five Americans navigate life with a mental health condition, neurodivergence, or disability. RAMPD has partnered with Netflix, TIDAL, and The Recording Academy to make the industry more inclusive and accessible. Join Pro-Members from Recording Artists and Musicians with Disabilities (RAMPD) for some real talk about neurodivergence and disability in music management. As well as how we, as managers can empower our community to amplify disabled voices, visibility, representation, and access across the music industry. Had a blast in Nashville representing the RAMPD table at Music Business Association. HUGE shout out to Keychange US and Maria Gironas for organizing "The Music Industry Lives Here" roadshow, and more importantly, winning the Agents of Change award!! Thank you to Louis Posen and Lachi ♫ for their inspiring talk on affecting social change within the industry! Huge congrats to TWO of my greatest mentors and friends, Cameo Carlson for winning the Presidential Award for her work with mtheory LLC and #jellyroll and Allison Schlueter and Reservoir for their award as Marketing Superstars for the #DeLaSoul campaign. Ya’ll continue to inspire me, everyday!

A Keynote discussion opposite e Louis Pos of rock label Hopeless Records - who've put out a ton of great music while working diligently to give back. Let's celebrate amazing Deaf and Hard of Hearing artists this Deaf History month! As our RAMPD community continues to expand in a diverse, exemplary, multi-cultured place where all talents appear in one place! As we embrace our diverse membership, we're eager to spotlight our deaf/hard of hearing PRO members. Within our community, we celebrate individuals with all types of disabilities, each bringing their unique talents, flare, and respective expertise that represent RAMPD so well. As one of our members puts it, "I would definitely like to communicate to other individuals that making music without being able to hear higher frequencies is not impossible." Let's support our musicians! I just won RAMPD $10,000 in a fierce Pitch Competition and I'm feelin' good! 🎉 Honored to have competed amongst some of the most innovative founders with disabilities running the game today. 2Gether-International--an outfit providing growth and development for entrepreneurs with disabilities--held a stiff pitch competition among its top accelerator alumni, with the support of National Disability Institute. Fellow founders presented cutting-edge solutions redefining accessibility within hiring practices, prosthetics and safety. I pitched RAMPD's (Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities) bold new initiative, the RAMPD Stamp, which will set a disability and sensory-inclusive standard for music venues nationwide while working with the venues and local governance on the resources to achieve those standards, ensuring that every patron, performer or passerby can experience their favorite venues, and that venues large and small, can welcome those dollars. And it got us the prize! Folks with disabilities are creative thinkers, problem solvers and visionaries, as we spend everyday navigating a world that wasn't built for us, adapting to a society that doesn't quite get us, constantly sniffing out that option C. We are inherent entrepreneurs, innovators, disrupters and our different body-minds are an asset It's time we are given the proper resources, training and opportunities to take our power back, make big moves, and finally clean up this inaccessible mess for all the non-disabled folks that will eventually join our club! 💯 Let me know what you think of the RAMPD Stamp initiative or if you'd like to know more! Thanks so much to the 2GI team Diego Mariscal, Keevin O'Rourke, Courtney "Coko" Eason, esteemed judges Nagela Dales, Anthony R., Solomon J. Parker, Tony Waller and NDI! Thank you for all you do to support and enrich the entrepreneur community. #representationmatters #disabilityinclusion #entrepreneurs

Me and my cane spreading Disability Realness on Billboards across the Country! In celebration of Women's History Month, Ad Age invited me to write a guest essay on my career journey, speak on a panel with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management CMO Andrea Zaretsky and Adage Editor in Chief Jeanine Poggi at the OUTFRONT Media “Women, Wine & Wisdom" event amplifying Women in media and advertising. We should not only see women at all levels from the mail room to the board room, but these women should be diverse in race, ethnicity, disability, neurodivergence, gender-fluidity, class, beliefs and all other diversities. Building a powerful network of diverse perspectives--of visionaries--will, hands down, lead to the greatest innovations of our generation! panel HERE: https://lnkd.in/eBxwKuBP #womenshistorymonth #representationmatters
