At Railex we do not shy away from Challenges. This is our Railex System 635- Pin Down Conveyor installed at a dry cleaning plant. We manufacture this conveyor and the similar System 630 Clip conveyor in our NY plant. This conveyor snakes through a dry cleaning plant on 2 levels. The conveyor takes individual garments from the pressing area and steam tunnel area up to the mezzanine where it dispatches them at the order assembly conveyor. This same conveyor then picks up the bagged orders (automatically) and brings the bagged orders down to the shipping area. A Railex System 200 Slick Rail Project for Garment on Hanger (GOH) storage. This is a new 2 tier installation. The customer is just starting to fill up the racks. So far only part of the 1st tier has product on it. This is a "free standing" system that is braced off the columns and walls of the facility. A project like this typically takes Railex 2-4 days to develop from a conversation and napkin sketch to a CAD drawing with a costed BOM from one of our engineering experts. Sometimes customers just need it done quickly.  This Railex System 200 Slick Rail installation is one of those jobs. The lease was up, they had to move. The installer went by, saw the space, sent us a sketch, we turned it into a CAD and a quote. We shipped the job. The Railex System 630 Clip Conveyor - This is a video of a test unit we set up in one of our warehouses for a customer. The clip conveyor lets you move individual GOH and has the unique ability to let garments accumulate while the conveyor is running! Wow! To repeat.....the conveyor keeps running and GOH can stop and accumulate and then be released! This means the inbound side can remain active while the dispatch end can run start-stop. Imagine multiple work stations flowing into your assembly operations and the team at the end release the flow as needed! These conveyors can be 100's of feet long and they can be designed to wind their way up, over, and around obstructions.
