  • As Larsen Leaders, we value providing opportunities to develop students into well-rounded leaders. This semester, we had the privilege of hosting Todd Williams, CFO of the West Central Region of IU Health, who shared insights about the Intersection of Business and Healthcare. Students actively participated in his presentation and continued to engage afterward, encouraging deep understanding and stimulating thought. #LarsenLeadersAcademy #BoilersinBusiness #PurdueBusiness

Over the course of 8 days, my team and I worked on the Powershift Case Competition in which we were tasked to create and support recommendations to diversify gender in the semiconductor industry. On Friday, we presented in the preliminary and final rounds and ultimately placed first out of 38 teams! My amazing team of Emma Ahern, Diego Legoas, and Ethan Murphy made the experience and win so much more rewarding. As an all freshman team with little experience, I can’t stress enough how proud I am to have all come together as a team and put in over 60 hours of work during the span of a little over a week. We’ve decided this won’t be the end for Integrated Solutions! Always grateful for opportunities like this that Purdue University and Purdue University Daniels School of Business offers. Special thank you to Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Business, Business Career Services || Purdue University Daniels School of Business, and Cara Putman, JD, MBA for hosting the event as well as all the judges for their time and dedication! #casecompetition #purduebusiness

  • Our final Daniels Send-Off speaker reveal is here! Meet Olivia Guffey, a senior originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She is majoring in economics with a minor in management. Olivia recently completed her term as President of Delta Sigma Pi and is also heavily involved in the economics department, serving as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the last two years. Her experiences at Purdue have been nothing short of amazing, and she is excited for her next chapter at GE Aerospace. Why is she so excited? "I am thrilled to be a part of the inaugural Daniels Send-Off and have the opportunity to share some of the many lessons learned throughout my time on campus. These lessons originate from the communities within the Daniels school and the experiences with leadership they provide. As my college career comes to an end, I hope to welcome the future of the business school and the innovation that is yet to come." RSVPs will be sent out to Larsen students and club presidents soon! #PurdueBusiness #LarsenLeadersAcademy

  • The dynamic duo that consistently inspires: Marshall and Susan Larsen. Marshall and Susan are the founders of the Larsen Leaders Academy and generously endowed the program. They motivate students through their compelling stories and wealth of knowledge. The initiative stemmed from former CEO of Goodrich Marshall Larsen’s vision of bringing a premier leadership program to The Business School at Purdue University. Over time, students have engaged in transformative experiential leadership experiences, enriched academic opportunities, and networking events, shaping them into future business leaders. We express our gratitude to the Larsen family for their ongoing positive impact on students and their generous donations. #BoilersInBusiness #PurdueBusiness #LarsenLeadersAcademy

  • As we get ready to welcome our next generation of Larsen Leaders, we wanted to highlight an amazing way to elevate your journey towards leadership! The Larsen Leaders Academy Mentor Program (LAMP) is an opportunity for incoming freshmen to be paired with an upperclassman who is a strong role model and dedicated to the mission of the program. Mentors gain great experience leading younger groups and practicing skills in sharing their personal motivations as inspiration for their mentees. If current Larsen Leaders want to learn more about mentorship, the upcoming call outs for perspective mentors are as follows: Both will be held in KRAN G020: February 26th 8:00-9:00 PM  February 29th 7:00-8:00 PM  *RSVP has been sent in the 2/19 edition of Larsen Weekly. #PurdueBusiness

Outside of school, she loves to watch romantic comedy movies, travel, and workout at the gym. Why is she so excited? "I am so honored to be able to speak at the Daniels Send-Off and share my life experiences at the business school with students who are still navigating their paths.
