Did you know that AmeriCorps is on the chopping block in its 30th anniversary year? Congress is debating FY25 appropriations bills and catastrophic cuts to AmeriCorps have been proposed. The House has recommended eliminating funding for AmeriCorps State and National, AmeriCorps NCCC, the State Service Commissions, and the National Service Trust, threatening over 71,000 #AmeriCorps service positions, including those at Public Allies.
