Promethean Builders is a full-service General Contractor and Construction Manager. Promethean Builders has offices in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Each team member is hand-picked to ensure all individuals embody the qualities of a true Builder. We have assembled an innovative, nimble team with a wide range of experience to deliver the highest quality of service for our clients. Using a hands-on partnership approach, our mission is to ensure we execute on every aspect of our client’s vision. Why “Promethean”? Prometheus, one of the Titans in Greek mythology, was the god of fire, a master craftsman considered the wisest of the race. The name Prometheus was derived from the Greek prefix pro (“before”) and the verb mantho (“to learn” or “to be increased in knowledge”) making Prometheus the “Forethinker,” the one who thinks ahead. He was credited with giving humans fire, architecture, master craftsmanship and knowledge. We believe that the construction industry is ripe for innovation but progress is often stifled by traditional thinking. Our team is poised and ready to take a rebelliously creative approach to an antiquated industry.
