    Following a historic performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Simone Biles is now the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, and continues to impress as she embarks on her Gold Over America Tour. The excitement surrounding her tour is reflected in ticket prices and demand on the secondary market.     The NFL's 105th season kicked off last Thursday, and fans were expectedly eager to see their new-look teams back in action. Average ticket prices (ATPs) on the secondary market are up 6.1% over Week 1 in 2023 - now at $263 league-wide. Following an exciting off-season and an attractive home schedule, the Atlanta Falcons pace the league with a 78% year-over-year increase. Rounding out the top-3 are the Detroit Lions (66%) and the Houston Texans (55%), both with high expectations of their own.     College Football is back, and the 2024 season kicks off with several marquee matchups, both in and out of the newly realigned conferences. With Labor Day weekend upon us, fans can look forward to a full slate of action for the first time in 9 months. Texas makes its first ever visit to Ann Arbor where they’ll take on the defending National Champion, Michigan Wolverines. Secondary market average ticket prices (ATPs) for the September 7th matchup are currently $741, the highest of any in college football.     Billy Joel performed the final edition of his monthly residency at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, July 25. The secondary market reacted accordingly for the legend's 150th lifetime concert.     The #WNBA All-Star game was held Saturday, with the league heading into a month-long break for the #Olympic games. It's been a record-setting season in many ways for the league, spurred by the arrival of superstars, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. The average ticket price for the All-Star Game increased by 23% year-over-year from $189 to $233, and in an even bigger jump, ATPs for regular season games increased from $69 to $114 - a lift of 66%. Clark’s Indiana Fever and Reese’s Chicago Sky were featured in 7 of the 8 highest ATP matchups, with their August 30th showdown projected to hold the highest ATP of games in the second half at $385. #P1Insight
