    The team at Motive: A Project WorldWide Agency continuously sets the standard for the most immersive and creative fan experiences and the latest activation for the upcoming Borderlands film is no exception! Check out the post-apocalyptic motel takeover they created at #ComicCon2024 🕹️

    COMICCON ALERT: MOTIVE SPORTS, GAMING & ENTERTAINMENT JUST HEATED UP THE BORDERLANDS HYPE MACHINE. This is one we’ll remember for a long time. In partnership with Regal Cinemas and Lionsgate, Motive: A Project WorldWide Agency just unleashed the MTN DEW Borderlands Motel: a full-scale motel takeover that uprooted the film’s post-apocalyptic landscape and dropped it into Albuquerque, New Mexico. The activation is part of a bigger tour de force seeing Borderlands make its way across America en route to ComicCon 2024. Massive props to everyone on our team who came together to make this happen—and to our partners at PepsiCo for laying the groundwork for such an epic event!

    As we move into our 111th year at GPJ, we take a moment to look back at our storied history. A history of innovation, passion and dedication. A large part of that story was shaped by Robert Vallee Sr. As we reflect on his long and successful life, we celebrate the indelible mark he left on all of us. Mr. Vallee’s story with GPJ (now a division of Project Worldwide) began in 1948, a tale of dedication and determination that spanned five decades. From humble beginnings, he climbed through the ranks. His tenure as one of our most successful salespeople paved the way for his ascent to the presidency, a role where he not only led but inspired. In 1985, he took a bold leap to successfully acquire GPJ. His visionary leadership was evident as he steered GPJ through transformative moments, from relocating to modern facilities to spearheading expansion into new territories. Under his guidance, we didn’t just grow; we flourished, becoming the global force in experience marketing we are today. Perhaps Mr. Vallee’s greatest gift to us was his belief in the power of ownership and community. In 2005, he made history by entrusting the company not to a faceless entity, but to the employees. Through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program), he ensured that our destinies were intertwined with the success of the company he held dear. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Vallee was known for his wit and inspiring presence, generosity that knew no bounds, and his love for his family. Together with his wife Virginia Fern Johnson Vallee and family, he touched countless lives through philanthropic work. The Vallee family and everyone at GPJ extend our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support as we honor Mr. Vallee’s extraordinary life.     You want to deliver for people you care about. A successful agency brand partnership comes down to 2 things: Trust and camaraderie. Often, the two are intertwined, but putting in the time upfront to set the day-to-day up for success will usually lead to trust and, in many cases, camaraderie or even… a real friendship. So, what’s the most important factor in accomplishing this? Follow-through. It's not just about making promises but ensuring they become reality. This commitment is crucial on both sides at all levels. If trust and camaraderie exist in your agency brand partnership, I’d put it above any fancy processes, frameworks, or tools. That’s not to say it will always be easy; of course, it’s not. But, if the partnership truly feels like one team, it will make tackling the often fast timelines or any other problematic circumstances more achievable — as you’re genuinely doing it together. Partnership strength is my number 1 barometer for an account's overall health. If the partnership is strong, I can also trust that the work will be, too. This general theme can be adapted to collaboration between agencies as well, and it’s something Matt Statman stresses within Project Worldwide. He says... “You can’t work with people you don’t trust. And you don’t trust people you don’t know.” At the end of the day, whether it’s a collaboration between agencies or with clients, you want to deliver for people you care about. ✌️ #marketing #advertising #advertisingagency #brands
