UPDATE 🚨 The standoff between the Teamsters and #rail giants CN and CPKC hit a breaking point last week, which resulted in a major worker lockout. Operations have since resumed under a government mandate, but the situation remains tense—leaving the door open for possible service disruptions. Here's the impact we've seen so far: 🚉 Origin railyard dwell increased 200% on August 23. ⏳ Destination railyard dwell surged by 1000% but quickly returned to normal levels. 🚄 Rail transit times spiked by 28%, also now back to normal. 🚚 Truckload on-time performance remains steady and unaffected.
